ACCOMMODATIONS

Year Round

Oak Centre (48 beds)

Oak Centre Accommodations at Bark Lake Leadership Centre

The Oak Centre is a 24 room hotel style accommodation furnished in Canadiana decor. Twenty of these rooms have two single beds as well as a private three-piece bathroom. The two rooms at the end of each hall contain one double bed, a futon and a four-piece private bathroom.  The centrally located Fireside Lounge has two kitchenettes, twin propane fireplaces, an LED screen, and two smaller rooms ideal for stepping away with just a few guests. The back deck provides a pristine view over Bark Lake, perfect for an evening BBQ or just mingling with guests.

Tamarack Cabins at Bark Lake This recently renovated space has four bedrooms and can accommodate up to sixteen people. Features include sitting area and washrooms within the lodge.

Tamarack Dormitory (50 beds)

This newly renovated two storey dormitory has three bedrooms on the top floor and two on the lower, all furnished with bunk beds. Other amenities include air conditioning, a lounge, and two washrooms with showers.

Tamarack Cottage

Nestled amongst a mature red pine forest, overlooking the lake, this three-bedroom cottage is ideal for families coming to celebrate.  Features include a full kitchen, lounge area, and a three piece bathroom.  Two rooms contain one single and one double bed. A third bedroom contains two single beds.  This cottage also offers a screened in porch, creating a perfect place to relax.

Tamarack Lodge

This recently renovated space has three bedrooms with bunk beds and one room with a double bed. Features include a sitting room, washrooms, showers, parking and easy access to Second Beach.  The lodge is ideal for a small group or in addition to a larger group staying in Tamarack Section.

Pine Cabins

Pine Cabins 1-3

These cabins feature three floors, connected by an open air stairway, each with their own bedroom containing three bunk beds per room.  Additional features include a washroom on the middle floor and a screened in porch on the lower.

Pine 4

This cabin is just steps from the rest of the Pines.  Amenities include four bedrooms with two sets of bunk beds per room, washroom facilities, and small sitting room.

 

Maple Cabins

Maple Cottage (6 beds)

Nestled in its own quiet bay, this cottage provides a sense of privacy while at the same time allowing access to all that Bark Lake has to offer. This cottage features its own beach, fire pit, and one of the best views of the lake.  The interior features a kitchen, lounge area, and three-piece bathroom.  Two bedrooms contain two single beds each.   A third bedroom features one single and one double bed.

Maple 7

This cozy cabin overlooks Maples 1-6.  It includes a sitting room, washroom, and two bedrooms.  One bedroom has two single beds and the other has a bunk bed.

Point Cottage (8 beds)

This historic cabin offers rustic charm with modern amenities; including four bedrooms, a sitting area, two washrooms, and a kitchen.  Point Cabin is just steps away from the newly renovated Bark Lodge.  To top it all off, enjoy a world famous Bark Lake sunset from the lakeside deck or your private campfire pit.

This hidden gem can help make your day one to remember.  When used for brunch, this space has a causal atmosphere perfect for reconnecting with family and friends.  As an indoor venue for your ceremony, Lakeside is transformed into a welcoming and cozy setting.

The dining hall at Bark Lake Leadership Centre

With a magnificent stone fireplace as its centrepiece, the Dining Hall has a warm hearted ambience that invites celebration. This space boasts a captivating view of Bark Lake and the large windows flood the hall with natural light.  Top it all off with a wrap around deck, a canoe bar, and a dance floor that’s ready for jigs, the possibilities for a fabulous time are endless.

Couples rave about the Small Dining Hall not only because of its convenient location (just steps from the main Dining Hall) but also because of its endless possibilities of uses.  This cozy space can be used as a children’s activity room, photo booth, or a staging area.

This welcoming space can be used for a wide range of activities.  The spacious common room is ideal for connecting with family, the back deck provides a scenic spot for barbecuing a wedding party dinner, and the break rooms over a quite nook for having one-on-one conversations.

Three Season Meeting Areas

Originally constructed in the 1930’s, the newly renovated Bark Lodge is the perfect place to unwind before your big day. With its beautiful log interior, warm stone hearth, and cocktail bar to celebrate the night away; where else would you rather be?  The lakeside porch offers a picturesque view of Bark Lake and is ideal for watching the day come alive!

The Pavilion at Bark Lake Leadership Centre

Our open air Pavilion provides a unique setting for you to exchange vows; boasting long wooden flooring and built-in lighting and electrical outlets for your convenience. If not for your vows, the Pavilion is the perfect outdoor space to host an intimate rehearsal dinner or to mingle with guests during your cocktail hour.

Located by the Aspen Section, it is an ideal location for winter programming, group activities, and field games.  Amenities include picnic tables and a fire pit.

This sand beach located behind the Dining Hall is perfect for campfires or as a central meeting area.  Amenities include picnic tables, a grassy field, and a fire pit.  Limited Wi-Fi may be available.

Mixed forests, bogs, and beaver dams await you along our trails.

This small field is located at the extreme southwest end of the lake and is accessible by either canoe or trail.  It is well suited for cookouts, small group activities, initiatives and reflections.

A large open field, across from the Oak Centre, that is ideal for active games and initiatives.

Second Beach at Bark Lake Leadership and Conference Centre

This large sandy beach with a shallow designated swim area is a perfect place to kick back and relax!  Just a short stroll from the main site, this private beach features amenities such as a volleyball court, outhouses, and a fire pit.

At Bark Lake Leadership Centre, our goal is to craft a meal that will be distinctly yours. Working with our Executive Chef, you will be able to create a memorable menu that reflects your tastes and preferences. To take the pressure off of planning; let us recommend our specialties to you.

Your wedding experience is fully customizable from start to finish. We are delighted to cater to you as little or as much as you like. From a Friday night welcome barbeque or intimate rehearsal dinner, a culinary feast at your reception dinner or a Sunday morning brunch; we have you covered.

  • Accommodations for 48 guests at double occupancy for 1 night in the Oak Centre, includes bedding and linens

  • Use of hiking trails, beaches, tandem canoes, and kayaks when in season
  • Use of snowshoes and cross-country skis when in season
  • Concierge in hiking boots to make sure your special day is memorable
  • Assistance with set-up and clean-up of dining hall for your wedding reception. Clients are responsible for decorating, centerpieces, and linens
  • Tables, chairs, stemware, and table settings
  • 2 Smart Serve bartenders (8 hours) and 4 service staff night of reception

  • Clients are responsible for providing a liquor license and alcohol for bar service
  • Wedding Packages do not include meals
