Summer staff all call 01 Mar 2008 Can you do the baby blue? As Bark sits under a blanket of snow - we know spring training for staff is in the air. Mark April 5th and 6th in your calendar to be here at Bark Lake! Starting at 1pm on the 5th and going to 3 pm on the 6th you can get the opportunity to be part of the SOLE team! [Parents can make arrangements to stay over if needed - call 888-517-9999 ex 233 for details] All you need is 2 ten minute lesson plans ready to go to show what you know plus a cover letter and resume to back up what you have done since last summer. We are looking for a great demonstration of creativity fun and an environmetnal focus in your lessons. [Bring what ever props you need to do them too if possible] Try to avoid things camp has done in the past and try something crazy - dare to share! The Ninja squirrels are waiting and ready! Are you?

Photo Contest Second Place Winner 28 Jan 2008 Congratulations to Brooke Jones for submitting a picture to the Our Kids and the Society of Camp Directors photo contest. Her picture is in the Our Kids Go to Camp magazine page 96. She won a book of photographs called Vibrant Communities in Focus, a DVD called Summer of Hope about First Nation Youth Camps, and one called Photo Sensitive a DVD of black and white photos from across Canada. She also got a 2GB flash drive from Sandisk to put more pictures on and a Our kids tote bag to put it all in. Get your cameras ready for next year the grand prize winner could get a new digital SLR camera and tripod next time! Congratulations Brooke!!
